INSTALLATION & USE

The ZX-VORTEX Dirty Water Pump series are suitable for use with dirty water. They are are suitable for draining waste water in domestic applications and for pumping dirty water containing suspended solids up to Ø 40 mm. They distinguish themselves for the ease with which they are installed and their reliability under automatic operating conditions in fixed installations.

Typical Applications

A Dirty Water Pump is used for removing water that is likely to contain some solid particles. Typical examples of dirty water would include flood water, muddy water, pond water, emptying tanks, home waste water which is not filthy etc. Take care to note the maximum solids the pump can deal with to make sure you make the right selection.

Motor Shaft: Stainless steel EN 10088-3 – 1.4104

Port: 1’1/2″

The pumps are complete with:
– 5 m long power cable
– float switch for single-phase versions

Hose Connection: ø 50mm

APPLICATION LIMITS

Immersion Depth: 5m (with a sufficiently long power cable)
Maximum liquid temperature: +40 °C (maximum liquid temperature +90 °C for a maximum of 3 minutes of intermittent service)
Passage of suspended solids up to ø 40mm
Suction level down to 50 mm above ground level
