By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and/or changes to our website and it is your responsibility to check this page for the current terms at each use of the website.
INFORMATION and LIABILITY
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the images and descriptions of the products that appear on the site but do not warrant the quality or suitability of any item for any application unless this is specifically given in writing. Information on the website is provided in good faith but no guarantee is given that it is accurate, complete or current. Information on this site should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions, significant information should be independently verified or specific up to date information requested from us. No responsibility is accepted for the accuracy of information provided by manufacturers or other sources outside of our control.
We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time and will endeavour to keep information current but have no obligation to do so.
Images and information on the site must not be reproduced without our specific permission in writing. Nothing sourced from us or the website may be used for any illegal purpose or violate any laws including but not limited to Copyright and Trademark regulations.
PRODUCTS & PRICING
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or description without notice at any time.
Prices are subject to variations which are often outside our control and can change at any time. Prices are not fixed until an order is confirmed by us, if we are unable to supply or cannot supply at the advertised price you will be advised and the order cancelled without charge if we cannot agree a suitable alternative.
Product images and technical specifications are subject to change from those given on our website due to continuous product development, if you have any specific requirements please check with us before ordering.
Product warranties vary but all our products are warrantied for domestic UK use for a minimum of 12 months from the date of our invoice. Warranties cover manufacturing defects only and products shall be repaired or replaced as advised by the manufacturer. Use outside of the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines or instruction for installation and use will void the warranty. Failure due to wear and tear is specifically not covered by the warranty, as is damage resulting from poor installation, misuse, or as a result of third party intervention. Manufacturers may also impose further warranty restrictions or conditions on their products used for commercial applications and this should be confirmed prior to order if applicable.
In the case of a valid warranty claim where repair or replacement by us is not feasible for any reason, we reserve the right to refund your money. The limit of our liability in all cases shall be the price paid for the item as per the original invoice.
Products alleged as warranty failures should be advised at the earliest opportunity and returned by the customer with proof of purchase in accordance with our Returns policy below.
SALES and ORDERING
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may at our sole discretion limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, per means of payment or per order.
In the event that we make a change to, are unable to fulfil, or otherwise cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the addresses and phone number(s) provided at the time the order was made.
We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors or that may (in our sole opinion) be fraudulent.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information with all orders and any inaccuracies discovered will result in orders being withheld or recalled until we are satisfied that the order isn’t fraudulent. Details of suspected fraudulent orders will be reported to the law enforcement agencies and credit card company/bank where appropriate.
Returns, including any rights for domestic consumers under distance selling regulations, are only accepted subject to the terms of our Returns Policy.
VAT at the current rate will be added to all purchases from the UK or EU. Orders from other parts of the world will not be charged VAT if satisfactory proofs of export can be provided.
Your order will normally be delivered to you by a commercial carrier and in selecting our delivery service you agree to abide by their terms in relation to delivery and goods damaged in transit. Delivery time is not within our control and is not the essence of the contract, claims for non-delivery will not be accepted until the later of the quoted delivery time or 7 days from despatch.
Damaged goods or shortages must be reported within one working day of delivery and confirmed in writing, with supporting pictures where possible within 3 workings days.
Customers must please ensure they are available to receive delivery of purchased items. If delivery has been unsuccessful due to the customer not being available to receive and sign for the goods then an additional cost of up to £50 exVAT maybe incurred for a re-delivery.
No goods should be returned without prior authorisation for any reason. Used items can not be returned and no refunds will be issued for used items.
Contact us for authorisation and instructions for returning goods, this will vary according to the items concerned and the reason for return. Goods which arrive back to us without prior authorisation will not be acknowledged or processed.
You are responsible for the goods until they arrive to us in the condition they were delivered. Items should be appropriately packaged and insured, and delivered to us carriage paid.
Any item returned for a refund must be returned unused, in perfect resaleable condition including original undamaged packaging and with original delivery note. If a refund is to be given it will cover the cost of the goods only and will not include any delivery or collection costs.
Items returned by the customer under warranty will be inspected in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s requirements to confirm the validity of the claim. You are responsible for providing full information about the problem, and the installation where appropriate, together with proof of purchase. Claims not supported by this information may not be considered.
No responsibility is accepted for any consequential loss or damages arising from the use or failure of any product or service howsoever caused.
Please note a restocking charge of £15 exVAT per item may apply for order values up to £499 for order values £500 or above a restocking charge of £50 exVAT per item may apply. Delivery costs are not refundable.
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
Consumer rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which gives consumers the right to cancel the contract without reason for up to 14 working days from delivery.
Any item to be returned and receive a refund under this right must be returned unused in perfect resalable condition including original undamaged packaging and with the original delivery note. Refunds will cover the cost of the goods only and will not include any delivery or collection costs. Further delivery charges will be the actual costs of delivery which depends on the weight of the goods ordered and may be higher than the original delivery cost charged on the order.
Business to business is not covered by the Distance Selling Regulations therefore any requests for returns and refunds will be considered on an individual basis
Goods which are classed as ‘built’ or ‘built to order’ and non-stock items procured specifically for the customer cannot be returned unless faulty.
We collect the minimum information required for your interaction with our website, we do not pass or sell data onto any third parties and use the information in only the ways described in this Privacy Statement.
Where information (including pictures or video) is provided to us, at our request or otherwise, you agree that we may at any time and without fees or restriction edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use it in any medium. Your personal information is specifically excluded and shall be kept in confidence in accordance with relevant Data Protection legislation however we shall not be responsible for any personal information or identifiable elements that it may be possible to see or deduce from technical information, pictures or video supplied by you unless highlighted to us at the time of supply.
ERRORS and OMISSIONS
While we endeavour to keep everything accurate and up to date, the term “human error” was coined for a reason. In the event of an error in any aspect of the sales and order process which cannot be resolved by agreement, the matter shall be deemed to be closed by the cancellation of the order, return of any delivered goods carriage paid and in resalable condition (if applicable), and the return of any monies paid using the same means as the original payment.
Any transactions with us and these terms shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms shall affect your statutory rights.
